VIDEO: Compact organic waste with SK370
Fill in your organic waste into the hopper. The screw will compact the organic waste, while liquids will be separated and collected in a tray. The solid part of the waste will be compacted in the tube.

All plants for plastic recycling, who washes their plastic before the real processing, have reject from the washing plant. The reject is mostly very wet material consisting of paper, plastic, sand, textile etc. Unfortunately the reject cannot be used and therefore the recycling industry often has large cost for disposal of the wet reject.

RUNI SK370 screw compactor dewater up to 10 tonnes of RDF(Refuse-derived fuel)/SRF (Solid recovered fuels) per hour with an energy consumption of only 15 kW. Often it is possible to separate more than half of the water content.

During separation the waste stream is split into two. The liquid can either be diverted as waste water or collected and sold for other purposes like energy production or animal feeding. The solid material is so dry that it can either go to incineration at lower cost or sold for recycling.
